Postdoctoral Fellows and Visiting Scholars:


The highly motivated chemists with a strong background in synthetic organic chemistry are encouraged to apply. To apply for a postdoctoral position in the Zhang's lab, please send a cv with photo and a brief research summary (2-3 pages) via email to ydzhang@xmu.edu.cn, three letters of recommendation will be required when necessary. Graduate students


with the comprehensive training, students in the zhang's lab can expect: 1) to gain good synthetic chemistry skills, including the ability to propose and execute sophisticated approaches to challenging small molecules; 2) to develop english writing and presentation skills, especially in writing scientific papers and presenting academic lectures; 3) to have chances to do collaborative research and even manage a lab. each student will have the ability to do independent research when he/she finished the graduate program in this lab. the candidates in the xmu are highly encouraged to come by and have a talk with prof. zhang. the candidates from other universities are advised to participate the summer camp hosted by the college of chemistry and chemical engineering, xmu in july each year. the international candidates are also highly welcomed, see here. for the details, please contact prof. zhang via email.




undergraduate students:


undergraduate students are welcome to conduct research in the lab. please email prof. zhang to discuss potential appointments. outstanding students will be recommended to apply "yu-miao research program" sponsored by the university. the undergraduate students in this lab will have the priority to continue the graduate study here.
